We are raising funds for my husband’s beloved stepdad, Robert Williams, who was recently diagnosed with myeloid leukemia.
A few weeks before Thanksgiving, Robert began feeling unwell and developed a fever that simply would not go away. After multiple hospital visits and countless tests, our world changed right at the end of last year when he received his leukemia diagnosis.
Robert and his wife, Kathy, are small business owners who run their own pool maintenance and cleaning company. It’s more than just a job - it’s their only source of income. Unfortunately, due to the intensity of his illness and treatment, Robert is unable to do the physical labor the business requires. Kathy is on disability and is unable to work, leaving them without income at a time when medical expenses and everyday bills continue to pile up.
Robert is currently undergoing treatment during a 30-day stay at MD Anderson Cancer Center, far from home, focused entirely on fighting this disease. While he concentrates on healing, we want to help lift some of the financial burden weighing on their shoulders.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help cover living expenses, medical costs, and basic necessities during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Robert and Kathy in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support.
