Hello. My name is Josh Fant and this fundraiser is for a good friend, Robert Vaughan. He was involved in a motorcycle accident on July 19th where he struck a vehicle, got thrown off the bike and over the vehicle, then was struck again in the head by another vehicle after he hit the ground. He was in critical care for a couple of weeks; they stabilized him, and he has been moved to a rehabilitation hospital for monitoring and physical therapy. He will be recovering for the better part of a year because even though he had his safety gear on, he still suffered 15 broken ribs, a broken clavicle, a fractured tibia, fractured lumbar vertebrae, a completely torn ACL in his left leg, blood in his lungs, and a puncture wound in his right bicep. He has already had multiple surgeries and will still require at least one more to repair the ACL after he is a bit stronger and the doctors decide that he is ready. He has not been able to walk, has not been able to work, and the insurance is not covering his medical bills. I am trying to raise some money for him so he can handle his responsibilities and worry less while unable to work during his rehabilitation.
