Hello! My name is Robert Perez and I am a senior in high school! Soon, I will be on my way to graduating and moving onto the next phase in my life.  At first, I thought that going straight into college would be the next step for me; however, I learned that I needed to take a step back and reflect on what I really want to do with the rest of my life. As you know, this is a very crucial point in anyone’s life and I want to make sure I head into the right direction.

Thankfully, I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Spain with a group of 5 young men and stay with the Catholic priests and brothers of the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary  from August 2021-July 2022. I was so grateful and overjoyed when I heard that I was able to experience the culture in Spain and to learn how to grow as a leader. In this year of Navigare I will be able to perfect my Spanish, experience the culture of Spain, grow in the virtue of patience, prayer, and the grace of thanksgiving. Ultimately, this experience would help me become a better version of myself.

This is why I am kindly asking for any generous donations. Because this is more of a vocational and learning experience, we are asked to ask others for support. The money would be used to pay for flights to Spain and other countries that we would also visit as well as provide food, clothing, transportation, etc. during the year. Your kind generosity would support me in my faith journey and ultimately impact the experience that I will be fortunate to have. I humbly ask you to support me in this year of leadership but I will keep you guys in my prayers regardless :)
