Hi, my name is Terica, and I’m fundraising for my dad, Robert “Joe” McGee—the heart of our family, and the strongest man I know.

A few months ago, we got news that shattered our world: my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he has endured multiple major surgeries, endless hospital visits, and is now facing an uphill battle through treatment and recovery.

Watching him go through this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. This is the man who always showed up for everyone else, who gave without asking for anything in return. He’s a fighter. He’s tough. But no one should have to fight like this alone.

The emotional weight has been crushing—and so has the financial burden. The cost of surgeries, hospital stays, medications, and at-home care is more than our family can handle. And while he continues to fight for his life, we’re fighting to make sure he has everything he needs to recover.
