My name is Debbie Murphy and I'm trying to raise funds for my cousin, Robert Lake for a medical emergency he had on Thursday, June 19th, 2025. Rob had gotten an infection in his foot and had to be rushed to Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mi, where he had to have emergency surgery to have his left foot removed and the rest of his leg had to be cleaned out down to the muscle because the infection was spreading fast and his life was in danger. Rob is still in the hospital and they are trying to save his right foot.

Rob has worked hard his entire life and even worked 2 jobs - He owns his own home and would consistently help his parents with anything they needed. He's a great guy and his medical bills from here on out will be extremely outrageous. He has to stay in the hospital for probably 2 more weeks while they try to save his right foot.

I am trying to raise some money for his medical bills and to help him with his truck payment, house payment etc., since he will not be able to go back to work anytime soon, if ever. He may have to go on Disability. He will be at Mary Free Bed after leaving the hospital to recover and help him learn to walk again. I would like to help him so he doesn't have to worry so much about his bills while he's trying to recover. He's worried about losing his home.
