Support Robert In His Cancer Battle

My name is Savannah & my dad, Robert Chavez, was recently diagnosed with primary liver cancer. Unfortunately, this type of cancer is incurable & terminal.

Back in May of 2023, he had a large tumor rupture in his liver that caused internal bleeding. He lost so much blood that he coded in the emergency room. After stabilizing him, they took him to Barnes for emergency surgery to repair the bleed & there he stayed in the ICU for a week. At that time, were told by the Dr that it was not cancer & that the tumor should shrink on its own & not likely to rupture again.

Fast forward to January - it happened all over again! This time, we were told it was not the same tumor but in fact, another one!

But now, instead of just one, there are a total of 11 tumors. They did a biopsy this time & it is in fact, cancer.

This was such a shock to hear since we were told back in May that it wasn't cancer.

My dad is self employed. He has owned his meat delivery business for over 15 years. With his most recent stay in the ICU & being told the other tumors can rupture & bleed at any given time, his has been unable to work. It is not easy on him financially. He is worried about not having income to pay rent along with his other bills.

We are unsure of what the future holds at this point but, I would like my dad to be able to sleep at night knowing he is able to stay at his home that he has been at for 10 years & make ends meet without worry. I'm hoping to raise enough money for him to cover at least a years worth of bills.

My dad is a wonderful father & an even better grandpa to my 2 kids. He has always done so much for me & my kids. I am hoping that I can do the same for him.
