Support Robert Hardy After Fire Destroys Family Home

On Sunday, August 4, the family home of Robert “Stewart” Hardy was lost in a fire. Our beloved G Pop had just celebrated his 90th birthday only a few days prior. He built his dream home with the help of his son Rodney who passed away in 2020. We are devastated at the loss of our family home and are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe and physically unharmed.

While the fire was initially thought to be extinguished by local firefighters and some of the materials inside somewhat salvageable, the fire reignited overnight resulting in a total loss of the home and belongings not only for him but his grandsons Malik, Raymond, and Harvey. Harvey is even set to start school tomorrow. These young men moved in and have supported their grandfather over the last several years.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, the insurance lapsed only a couple of months ago and we as a family are working to support everyone impacted. As you can imagine, we are in need of additional financial resources to assist them as they navigate finding a new place of residence and replacing lost clothing, medication, food, etc. Any amount you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
