Support Robert Garrett's Cancer Battle

Dear Friends and Family,

I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the news about my father, Robert Garrett, who has recently been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. This unexpected diagnosis has turned our world upside down, but we are determined to fight it with all our strength and courage. After further diagnoses, we know that it is stage 3 and has metastasized to his liver. Chemotherapy will begin once a further biopsy of the liver has been taken. The mass that was discovered is currently inoperable due to its size.

As many of you know, medical treatments for cancer can be financially overwhelming, and our family is facing significant expenses for chemotherapy, prescriptions, and other necessary treatments. We are also trying to house him in Cherokee County so he can be closer to appropriate doctors. We occasionally have to cover transportation to and from doctors, when a ride is not available because he has lost sight in one eye from a past battle with cancer. This disability can be corrected but is not the current priority. As we navigate this challenging journey, we are humbly asking for your support and generosity.
