Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to share an update on my father, Robert Garcia, who has been courageously battling cancer for quite some time now. For those of you who know him, you know my dad is one of the strongest, most resilient people you could ever meet. His fighting spirit has been unwavering through this incredibly challenging journey, and he continues to face each day with grace, strength, and love.

We have been able to bring palliative care into our home here in McAllen, TX, where he is receiving the comfort and support he needs. However, as many of you know, the cost of medical care can be overwhelming, and we are currently navigating some significant financial challenges during this time.

Throughout his life, my dad has dedicated himself to helping others. As a long-time educator with McAllen ISD and as a counselor at Mission Psychological Center, he has touched so many lives with his compassion, his wisdom, and his genuine desire to make the world a better place. His impact is immeasurable, and his kindness has created a ripple effect that continues to positively affect so many people.
