We are heartbroken to share that Robert Franklin Duck Jr. has passed away from terminal lung cancer. A loving husband, devoted father, and inspiring community leader, Robert has dedicated his life to uplifting others as a mentor and was a founding member of the Carnegie Mellon Black Alumni Association and Spirit House. Robert was also a pioneer in media, with a storied career as a camera operator for WTAE in Pittsburgh, PA. His legacy of kindness, commitment to making a difference, and groundbreaking work in media will forever be remembered.
Robert’s death was sudden and we are seeking support to help cover his hospital bills and end-of-life costs. Any contribution will support his beloved wife, Donna Duck, children, and grandchildren.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Together, we can help ensure that Robert's legacy lives on through the love and community he cherished.
