Help Robert Alexander Fight Prostate Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you with heavy, but hopeful hearts and a plea for help. Our beloved Robert Alexander, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, co-worker, and friend, is in the fight of his life. Just five weeks ago, Robert was diagnosed with stage 1 prostate cancer. Tragically, the cancer has advanced and spread throughout his prostate.

For anyone who has met Robert, they know he is a pillar of strength for his family. He is married to his loving wife, Michelle, and is the proud father of four children: Shaun’tae, 13; Brooklyn, 16; Michael, 19; and Joslyn, 31. Additionally, he helps support his four grandchildren who live in Texas. In 2019, Robert and his family made the move from Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Denver, North Carolina, seeking a better life and new opportunities.

Since early 2020, Robert has been a dedicated employee of The Budd Group, working with Ingersoll Rand. He started as a day porter in Building A and, in 2022, transitioned to Trane Technologies in Building B. His commitment to his work and his family is unwavering, even in the face of this challenging diagnosis.

Due to the nature of the surgery and the recovery process, Robert will be out of work for an extended period of time. This will add to the financial strain, making our support even more crucial. Let us come together to ensure Robert can focus on his recovery without the added stress of financial burdens.
