Hi everyone,
This is a post I never imagined I’d have to write, but life has taken a pretty unexpected turn.
Over the past several months, I’ve been navigating cancer treatment and going through chemotherapy. It’s been physically and emotionally exhausting, but I’ve been doing everything I can to keep moving forward, stay positive, and hold things together.
Then, in a matter of hours, everything changed.
Our home recently experienced severe flooding, leaving it unlivable for the foreseeable future. We’ve been displaced and are now facing the reality of rebuilding while also trying to manage ongoing medical treatments and day-to-day life.
Between the cost of temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, and the financial strain that already comes with medical care, we’ve hit a point where we could really use some support. We do have insurance, but I was already struggling with the high cost of chemo, and this flood has sent use over the edge.
I’m raising $5,000 to help cover immediate needs like:
• Temporary housing and living expenses
• Replacing basic necessities lost in the flood
• Transportation and stability during ongoing treatment
• Giving us a small cushion while we get back on our feet
Jason has been incredible through all of this—steady, supportive, and strong when things feel overwhelming. And of course, Theo is still doing his best to keep our spirits up, even if he’s a little confused about why everything suddenly feels different.
If you’re able to contribute, it would mean more than I can fully put into words. And if you’re not, sharing this with others would help just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, for your support, and for being part of our lives during a really difficult chapter.
With gratitude,
Robby
