Just a few short weeks ago, our family was turned upside down when my brother Robby received devastating news—he has Stage 4a esophageal cancer. After a whirlwind of tests and uncertainty, we learned that this aggressive form of cancer has progressed quickly and has already spread. The toll it's taken on him is heart-wrenching; he's lost so much weight that some of his loyal customers at Bowhunters Edge barely recognize him.

Robby has bravely undergone one surgery, but that’s just the beginning of a challenging road ahead. He’s set to start a lengthy series of chemo treatments, with plans for another surgery in between. The shock of this news has left his wife, kids, grandkids, and our entire family reeling. We’re all doing our best to support him through this terrifying journey, and Robby's family—Julie, Alyssa, and RJ—have been incredible, surrounding him with love and encouragement during this unimaginable time.

That brings me to why I’m reaching out. Robby is self-employed and, unfortunately, he can no longer work. With this heavy burden, Julie has stepped up as the main provider, but the weight of financial responsibility is pressing down on her alone. She’s facing the difficult choice of balancing her job with being by Robby’s side for his appointments.
