Support Robbie's Fight Against Polyneuropathy

Hello Family and Friends!!
We wanted to provide a place where we can update you on Robbie’s condition and provide tangible ways to support him and Brooke during this very challenging season.
Robbie and Brooke celebrated their marriage at the end of July during a beautiful weekend in Wisconsin and were looking forward to starting their new life together as husband and wife. Only a few weeks later everything changed and it has been a long and challenging road for them since September when Robbie fell ill with a rare condition referenced as ‘acute onset small nerve fiber polyneuropathy’ which is a debilitating condition that affects his hands and feet. He has described it as a burning and tingling sensation that is a 10/10 pain. Robbie has been in almost constant pain since the onset, doing the best he can to manage the flare ups with ice baths, bay swims, acupuncture and pain medication. Robbie has lost the ability to drive and function independently.
He is so incredibly strong even without getting much sleep or reprieve from the pain. Brooke has been working full time to financially support them as Robbie is no longer able to work. Brooke and family members have taken shifts providing 24 hour care for Robbie during the last few months and plan to continue this until we find answers and treatment.
We have hope that Jesus will heal Robbie and we ask for your support in prayers please!
Specific prayers:
- Robbie needs rest, healing and for the pain to decrease and cease altogether, we need him to stay positive and strong!
- Brooke is a newly wed juggling a new full time job while spending every waking hour researching and advocating for Robbie. Pray for peace and strength as she is carrying the enormous mental burden of caring and finding answers for Robbie, while missing the loss of the newly wed life they looked forward to
- Prayers for their new neurologist to find answers on WHY this is happening and then finding a way to treat the root cause. Prayers for new doctors to be introduced that may have answers and prayers for miraculous healing!!
Financial Help
- Brooke and Robbie have had two insurance deductibles to reach this year, paying for alternative treatments and medications out of pocket, all while Robbie is now unable to work. Please consider financially supporting them in anyway you feel called to help. It will take a huge burden off their shoulders and give them means to pursue alternative treatments that may help his healing.
