Help Robbie Fight Bladder Cancer
A few weeks ago, my brother Robbie went to the ER thinking he had kidney stones. After a CT scan, doctors discovered a large mass in his bladder. He underwent laparoscopic surgery in hopes they could remove much of the tumor, but unfortunately, the surgeon wasn’t able to take out as much as we’d hoped.
Pathology has since confirmed that Robbie has a high-grade, aggressive bladder cancer that covers most of his bladder. He’s now under the care of specialists at Indiana University, where he will undergo his second surgery early this week. The doctors have told us this will likely be a long process involving multiple surgeries and treatments as they work to determine the best plan and, hopefully, save his bladder.
Robbie is a single dad of three incredible kids who mean the world to him. As you can imagine, this diagnosis has brought unexpected emotional and financial challenges. He will lose about half of his income while he is unable to work, and medical bills, travel costs to IU, and time away from home are already beginning to add up.
If you know Robbie, you know he’s the kind of person who keeps everyone around him smiling, no matter what life throws his way. His humor and heart have always been his superpower, and even now he’s facing this fight with that same spirit, finding ways to make others laugh through the hardest moments.
Our family is rallying around him, and we’re asking for your help. Every donation, prayer, and word of encouragement means more than we can say. All funds raised will go directly toward Robbie’s medical care, travel expenses, and helping him care for his kids during this time.
Thank you for believing with us, for lifting Robbie up, and for helping us shoulder this fight together.
Goal: $12,000
Let’s help Robbie focus on healing and being the amazing dad, brother, and friend he’s always been.
