As some of you may know, an old friend Robbie Webb has fallen on hard times in recent years and is currently homeless and living out of shelters on a very limited monthly income while trying to stay near to his mother's nursing home in South Carolina.
Robbie attended SUNY Oneonta beginning in the fall of 1977 and lived on my floor my first semester there. He was one of the first people I met when I got there, and he was always smiling and helpful, literally giving me the shirt off his back (it was actually in his closet) and a choker chain so I could be dressed to impress on my first date with my wife of 43 years, Diane Chester.
Obviously, any and all contributions are greatly appreciated, but contacting his friends, spreading the word via social media, etc., are also ways you can help.
Robbie is a good man in need of a helping hand. I’m reaching mine out and I hope you are able to as well.
Thanks,
