Rob Thibeault, the passionate owner of J&R Barbecue in Presque Isle, is someone many of us know as a devoted husband, a proud father, a faithful United States Marine, and a loyal friend to our community. Rob pours his heart into his family, his business, and the people he serves every day.
On Monday morning, Rob was taken to the emergency room after experiencing chest pain. What started as a small concern quickly revealed something far more serious. Rob is now undergoing a double, possibly a triple bypass surgery in Bangor. As many in our community know, he recently restarted his small business, and because of that transition he currently does not have health insurance. The medical bills from this emergency, combined with several weeks of recovery during which he will be unable to work, place a heavy financial burden on his family.
Rob has always been there for others—through his food, his kindness, and his unwavering generosity. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
We are asking for support to help ease the financial strain during this difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference as Rob focuses on healing and his family navigates the weeks ahead.
If you are unable to give financially, please keep Rob and his loved ones in your prayers. Your support—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this page—means more than you know.
Thank you for showing this wonderful family the love and strength of our community.
