Rob Maurer, my best man and one of the most loyal, generous people in my life, suffered a sudden stroke on December 22nd that changed everything in a moment. Rob is now facing major challenges: he has limited use of his right arm and right leg, and is working through the long, exhausting process of rehabilitation. He’s fighting hard every day, but the road ahead is steep and uncertain.

Between therapy, medical appointments, mobility equipment, and the day‑to‑day adjustments of relearning basic tasks, the financial strain is real and growing. I’m starting this GoFundMe because Rob would never ask for help himself, but right now, he needs a community behind him—the same way he’s always shown up for everyone else.
