Yesterday, September 5th, 2024, my good friend and coworker, Rob Cano, was involved in a serious car accident with a semi-truck and one other vehicle. Following the accident, Rob was airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital where he was intubated and taken into surgery for serious injuries. Rob and his girlfriend , Amber Tito, became first-time parents a week ago to their son, and Rob has been out of work with hopes of coming back this weekend. Unfortunately, under these circumstances, we are unclear when Rob will be able to help provide, work, or even begin to lead a normal life. Amber will be managing these funds on Robs behalf.
