Support RJ, Tino & Tasia After Mom's Passing

I created this GoFundMe account with the hopes to raise funds for my friend, Nitchy’s, 3 children: RJ, Tino & Tasia. Nitchy unexpectedly passed on February 27th, 2025 at the young age of 37.

A recent high school graduate & a decorated track & field athlete, RJ (19) works very hard to help his family financially. Tino (17) is due to graduate high school next June. He is an incredible basketball player with an obvious height advantage at 6’5”! Tasia (12) is bright, kind & loves school, earning straight A’s. Any girl at her age would inevitable feel the impact of losing a mother.

Nitchy’s sisters are currently housing & caring for them but they are in separate households. There is an overwhelming feeling of uncertainty. It’s important that we get them under one roof.

My short term goal is to cover the cost of the funeral. they’ll be used immediately to pay for the funeral costs. At the moment, organizing these payments is mentally too much for her sisters.

Long term goal is easing the financial hardship of housing 3 additional children. The reality of daily life will catch up & the remaining funds would help cover expenses like food, beds, school supplies, sports, miscellaneous medical bills, transportation, ect.

It’s hard to articulate the grief of her passing for myself, her children, her family & her friends (all whom I have grown to love). As a single mom, all she ever asked for was to provided for & protect her children. I would like to honor her request.

If you ever had the privilege of knowing Nitchy, you knew the bright light that she carried. She survived tragedy that I witnessed first hand, however, her resilience, grit, faith in God & the love for her children kept her going. A single mom, she worked so hard to create a beautiful life for her family!!
