Hello, my name is RJ Haber and I'm 12 years old. I live in West Palm Beach, Florida (Yep, home of the Stanley Cup Champs, the Florida Panthers ), and I have been a hockey goalie since I was 7 years old. I asked my dad to be a goalie, I went in net and never looked back.
Currently, I play for the Florida Alliance AAA in Estero, FL. I train hard on and off the ice.
I maintain straight A’s with all honors classes, and I am a member of the Junior National Honor Society.
Last week, my teammates and I received the news that we were invited to the 66th annual Quebec International Peewee Hockey Tournament. This is the highest-level minor hockey tournament in the world taking place in Quebec City, Canada in February 2026.
For 11 days, players from around the world will compete at the Videotron Centre and the Pavillon Guy-Lafleur — a once-in-a-lifetime experience that young hockey players dream.
My parents have made a lot of sacrifices for me to play at the highest levels. They have gotten me this far, but this tournament is very expensive. Including travel, hotel, and tuition, they will need to spend over $10,000 for me to experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with my team.
I ask anyone who might have the ability to help me raise money to donate what they can. Any little bit will be appreciated.
Thank you for reading my story.
