Hey, I’m River! I was walking around the river and ended up with an infection from a plant like hogweed or hemlock. The rash left me with bad burns that got infected. I was kept in the ER and diagnosed with a bad case of cellulitis because of it and have not been able to work in a while. The ambulance ride is something I simply can’t afford. I have to be able to eat on the medications they have put me on. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with a different skin condition called vasculitis that caused me to miss months of work as well.
