Hello Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We are the Riverhead High School Cross Country Team, and we’re excited to share that we’ve once again been invited to participate in the prestigious Ocean State XC Invitational at Goddard State Park in Warwick, RI!

Last year, thanks to your incredible generosity, we were not only able to compete at this top-tier event—we also created unforgettable memories that continue to inspire our athletes every day. Your support made it possible for our team to travel to Rhode Island, tour the University of Rhode Island’s Engineering building, speak with graduate students and professors, enjoy a team dinner together, and compete the following day. That experience helped strengthen our team bond and gave our student-athletes a glimpse into their futures—both athletically and academically.

This year, we’re hoping to build on that momentum!

Why We Need Your Help:

Traveling to this meet requires funding beyond what our school's budget can cover. We need to cover expenses such as:

Travel and Transportation: Ensuring safe and reliable transportation for our team.

Accommodation: Providing a comfortable and secure place for our athletes to stay.

Meals: Keeping our team well-fed and energized.

Registration Fees: Covering the cost of entering the competition.

Our Goal: $4,000

Every dollar makes a difference. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your donation directly supports our athletes and helps provide an experience that extends beyond running.
