River Rock Physical Therapy and Balance Center has always been more than just a clinic—it’s a place where hope and healing come together. What started as a wild idea for Angela, sparked by the question, “Why don’t we make a go of it?” quickly became a reality, even with a six-month-old and a two-year-old at home. Despite many roadblocks, including the challenges of Covid, the pieces miraculously fell into place. River Rock opened its doors in November 2020, welcoming seven patients in the first week and 52 visits in the first month. As word spread, the community’s support helped the clinic grow, and Angela was able to add more amazing staff who provided the kind of one-on-one specialty care that’s become so rare in today’s medical world.

But as River Rock approached its five-year mark, financial stability became harder to maintain. The time required for business management of a rapidly scaling business clashed with the time required for providing care for a large volume of patients. In the past two months, Angela had to make the heartbreaking decision to downsize and let go of clinical staff, which was especially difficult during the holidays. The future of River Rock is uncertain, but Angela is committed to doing everything possible to keep the doors open. With the right support, the clinic can rebuild and continue to serve the community.

Funds raised will go directly toward settling business debt, supporting staff payroll in the first quarter, hiring a business manager to help guide River Rock forward, and maintaining essential services like the therapy pool. As a mother, wife, housekeeper, full-time therapist, and business owner, Angela knows she can’t do this alone. She is asking for help to keep the River Rock spirit alive and to ensure that patients continue to receive the care they need. Support will make a real difference for the staff, the patients, and the future of the clinic.
