I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my first cousin, Rita, a 16 year old girl who was born with a genetic illness. Her condition is very rare as her body cannot produce blood on its own, therefore she requires blood transfusions twice a month. She is a very clever, intellectual girl but her body is too weak to handle her condition and she is constantly in and out of the hospital.

Rita's lungs are very weak, and her body isn't strong enough to handle any surgeries hence her need for regular treatments. Funds are needed to cover her treatments, medication and constant hospital visits.
