My name is Ritah Ndagire, and I am the founder of Ritah Animal Rescue, a registered non-profit animal shelter based in Kampala, Uganda. I started this rescue to help the countless stray, abandoned, and abused animals suffering on the streets of my community.

Every day, we provide food, shelter, medical care, and love to over 150 dogs and other vulnerable animals. Many arrive sick, injured, or starving — but with compassion and care, they are given a second chance at life.

We operate with very limited resources and rely entirely on donations from kind-hearted people like you. Your support goes directly toward:

Food and clean water for the animals

Medical care, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering

Maintaining shelter facilities and building safer kennels

Emergency rescues and rehabilitation
