Hi, I’m Arianna Wellmoney, a playwright, actor, and the founder of Wellmoney Productions, a company dedicated to creating thought-provoking and inclusive theater. My work explores the humor and heartbreak of human connection, often through the lens of underrepresented voices. I believe in telling stories that make people laugh, reflect, and feel seen.
I’m raising funds to bring my new play, Rip Jabari You Would’ve Loved the Apple Dance, to life! This story follows Chiara and Elijah, two best friends who win a contest from a space tech company, granting them the opportunity to test an AI modeled after their late best friend, Jabari. As they navigate their grief, the absurdity of technology, and their love for each other, the play explores the intersection of memory, loss, and the ways we try to hold on to those we’ve lost.
This project is deeply personal. As an immigrant artist, I’ve always been drawn to stories that explore belonging, nostalgia, and the strange, beautiful ways we process the past. This play is my way of asking: What does it mean to grieve in an age where technology tries to keep our loved ones “alive”?
