It has taken us awhile to post but we have since had to say goodbye to our beloved boy Rio. He gave it his all and put up a good fight. Regrettably, Rio is currently grappling with several health challenges. He was diagnosed with a heart condition, an enlarged heart, and recently discovered a blood clot that is circulating within his body.

Following a loss of consciousness and a decline in his tongue and gums due to oxygen deprivation, Rio was promptly transported to the emergency room. The situation was critical, and he required immediate medical attention.

Currently, Rio remains in emergency care, dependent on oxygen to sustain his breathing. Intravenous lines have been placed in both legs, and a nasal tube has been inserted to administer medication, fluids, and nutrition. To ensure his well-being, Rio has undergone multiple scans, including MRIs and ultrasounds.

The emotional toll of witnessing Rio’s struggles has been profound, and his condition has undoubtedly taken a significant toll on his physical health.

Since his admission to the emergency room, Rio has been receiving comprehensive medical care. The expenses associated with his treatment have been substantial, and we are seeking your assistance to help cover these costs, enabling Rio to receive the necessary care. Every contribution, regardless of its magnitude, will be directly allocated towards his medication, treatments, and follow-up care. Our collective support aims to facilitate Rio’s return home to his sisters, Aria, Paris, and Sahara.
