The Riordan Scholars program, organized by the Riordan Fellows at UCLA, is dedicated to empowering Los Angeles high school students with the skills, mentorship, and resources they need to pursue higher education and build successful careers. Through eight monthly Saturday sessions, scholars receive guidance from UCLA Anderson MBA students, participate in stock market and real estate competitions, attend SAT prep workshops, and benefit from guest lectures by leaders in corporate and academic communities. Personalized college action plan counseling, college application and financial aid workshops, and leadership development seminars are all part of the comprehensive support offered.

Our group is part of the Riordan Fellows Program, and we have an April deadline to raise funds to support the Riordan Scholars program. This urgent need has inspired us to come together and launch a fundraiser that will help sustain and expand these life-changing opportunities. By raising funds, we aim to design and execute sustainable, engaging initiatives that strengthen alumni and community ties, and build financial resources for fellows’ programming. The money raised will directly support workshops, mentorship, competitions, and college prep activities that make a real difference in students’ lives.
