Recovery for Rin

Rin was diagnosed at 9 months old with Astrocytoma -a a malignant tumor on the brain stem & spine. She underwent chemo for almost a year, however on May 1, 2024 she required emergency surgery to remove 90% of the tumor, all doctors were able to get.

Surgery went well but left Rin with paralysis & weakness in all of her extremities. She is completely unable to use her arms or hands. She will require months & months of inpatient rehabilitation to hopefully get her back to walking & playing like she was before surgery. She will also be starting chemo again to battle what’s left, when doctors believe she is strong enough to handle it.

We are asking for help so that her parents & family are able to care & stay with Rin while she remains in the hospital. Any help is greatly appreciated, we love our sweet girl & just want her to be the best she can be. That is only possible with everyone’s help! This girl is amazing, happy, and so so loved! She is truly a miracle child!
