Support Ringo and Daria's Recovery Journey

Hello everyone, my name is Donald Shivers, and I'm raising funds for one of my best friends of 50 years, Lawrence Ringer (Ringo). Ringo was in the class of '76 at Walker High School, where he played basketball and football. He is also a disabled veteran, former truck driver, bus driver, and security officer. He married his beautiful and amazing wife, Daria Ringer, about 3 years ago.

While visiting family in Buffalo, NY, on May 25th, Ringo's wife, Daria, suffered a massive stroke. She had to have brain surgery and other related procedures and was in a coma for 7 weeks. She is currently at Buffalo General Hospital in ICU. Her condition has improved this last week but still has a long road ahead. Ringo has been by her side most days while dealing with challenges of his own. They have a home in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and were a two-income couple.

I'm asking all of WALKER/McNAIR HIGH SCHOOL classmates, alumni, family, and friends, all truckers and city bus drivers, veterans, and anyone who wants to help. Ringo is trying to get his wife back home. Donations are needed for transportation for critical care patient either by air or ground. Unfortunately most ambulance transport companies do not accept insurance. Also there's a need for other living expenses. I know times are hard and getting harder, but with your help and GOD'S BLESSING there is no limit what we can do. Let's get together and be blessing for someone in need.
