Rilynn is a happy-go-lucky social butterfly. She is 11 years old and full of life, lovingly known by most as “Roo.” She has been in gymnastics for 6 years and started wrestling 2 years ago. Wrestling has become her true love and passion, and she has absolutely exploded over the past year with technique and strength. Her future is brighter than the brightest star.

Unfortunately, her dreams and aspirations are on a temporary hold. In January 2025, she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare muscle and connective tissue cancer. Over the next several months, she will undergo major surgery to her neck followed by months of intense chemotherapy. The news has rocked her family to the core. Rilynn, in her true fashion, has entered her journey with a positive attitude and braveness. She is ready to fight, and cancer has met its match.

Rilynn and her family have a very long and hard road ahead of them over the next 12 months and beyond. She is ready to take down cancer and get back to the mat and back to living her fun young life with all her family, friends, and teammates.
