My name is Kynadee Sievers and would like to share a story about a little girl name Riley.

Riley is my daughter Liberty’s little sister from Liberty’s dad and bonus mom; Curtis and Sarah Hollar. She is one of the sweetest most happy babies I have ever met. Riley was born in April of 2024 and immediately brought so much joy to her family. She almost immediately started a casting journey as well as surgery on her legs for clubbed feet and still remained the happiest little girl. Flash forward to August of last year her mom noticed something was off and took her to the doctor where they immediately sent her to the hospital due to labs being off in her blood counts. The next several months consisted of lots of doctor’s appointments, transfusions, and prayer. Riley was referred to Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis where she was later diagnosed with Congenital Amegakaryocytic Thrombocytopenia (CAMT). In short, the portion of her bone marrow that makes her blood’s platelets does not work. This has resulted in home health nurse visits, PIC lines, lots of appointments, and travel. These appointments have also made it incredibly hard for momma to work so she has been off work.

By the grace of God as well as selfless bone marrow donors Riley has been matched with a non relative bone marrow donor and her and her momma will be traveling to Indianapolis on March 3rd 2025 (Sarah’s birthday)where they will live through at least the end of June.

Riley will undergo chemotherapy to rid her of her current bone marrow and she will then receive all new bone marrow through a transplant.
