Hi, I'm Riley McAvoy, a wildlife filmmaker currently earning my master's at the University of the West of England. I'm raising funds for my graduate film, The Blob — a short wildlife documentary exploring the eerie impacts of a mysterious warm water mass in the northern Pacific Ocean known as "The Blob."

This project investigates the mass die-off of seabirds and the ripple effects this anomaly had on the broader marine ecosystem. Told through a blend of science, suspense, and dark humor, the film brings attention to the fragility of ocean life in a changing climate.

Funding will support travel to Alaska, gear rentals, permits, and post-production. Every contribution helps bring this story to life with the depth and creativity it deserves.
