Anthony is starting this fundraiser for Riley and The Cameron Family during an incredibly unexpected and difficult time. On Monday morning, Riley went in for what was supposed to be a routine brain scan. Later that same day, doctors discovered that Riley’s shunt was malfunctioning, and Riley unexpectedly needed a 14th brain surgery. Riley was born with spina bifida, and while her family has faced brain surgery before, this emergency and its timing were completely unforeseen. It has been a deeply trying week for everyone who loves Riley, and right now the family is trying to balance recovery, travel changes, and the emotional weight of it all.

Before this happened, The Cameron Family had already paid for flights and a rental car to travel from Florida to New Jersey at the beginning of November for Uncle Devin and Aunt Courtney’s wedding. Because Riley is not medically cleared to fly after surgery, the family now needs to make the trip by car instead. Donations will help cover the added travel expenses this sudden change has created, including gas, hotels, meals, tolls, and the return trip.
