Our friend Rileigh Sayles is in a tough spot, and we’re asking for help. A couple of months ago, Rileigh had an emergency appendectomy. She didn’t have health insurance, so the hospital bill landed entirely on her. Then, just as she was starting to recover, complications sent her back to the ER. She’s still healing and, despite everything, continues to work because rent and groceries don’t pause for surgery. The stress of mounting bills and the uncertainty of recovery have made this time especially hard for her.
Where the money goes:
• Hospital bills from the appendectomy and ER follow-up
• Rent, groceries, and utilities while she recovers
• Any remaining medical costs from the complications
Anyone who knows Rileigh knows she’s the first person to show up when someone else is struggling. She gives her time and her care without keeping score. Over the past few months, our group of friends has tried to support her, but the costs are just too much for one circle to handle alone. Now it’s our turn as a community. If you can give, give. If you can’t, please share this — it genuinely helps. Thank you for showing up for her.
