Hi everyone,

I’m writing on behalf of my dear friend, Rikkí Wright. She is someone I deeply admire for her heart and strength. Right now, she is going through a difficult living situation and could really use our financial support.

Rikkí has been living in an environment that has become toxic and unsafe. As an artist, her home is not just a place to rest, but a sacred space for creativity and healing. Although she has made many beautiful memories in her current space, it’s no longer a place where she can safely live in. She has been living in a state of shock and fear and now needs to urgently leave her home after recent act of violence. For the sake of her wellbeing and safety, it’s time for her to move into a new home. Rikkí is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and resilient. She deserves a peaceful home safe from violence and fear.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to help cover the cost of the first month’s rent, a security deposit, moving expenses, basic household essentials, and a small emergency cushion as she moves into a new home.
