Rihab is a Syrian refugee, a mother to five beautiful kids, and an incredibly hardworking home caterer whose food has become a source of comfort and joy for so many in our community. Cooking is not a side hobby for Rihab — it is her main source of income and how she supports her family. Every dish she prepares is made with care, consistency, and pride, often under difficult circumstances that most of us never have to face. Despite her talent and work ethic, rising food costs, limited equipment, and the challenges of running a home-based food business have made it increasingly difficult for Rihab to make ends meet. She continues to show up every day — humble, grounded, and grateful — even when the odds are stacked against her. This fundraiser is meant to support Rihab’s livelihood, not as charity, but as an investment in someone who works tirelessly to provide for her family. Funds raised will help with essential kitchen equipment and supplies, ingredients and packaging costs, business-related expenses needed to continue serving customers, and relieving immediate financial strain so she can keep working.
