Dear friends,

As we get closer to December and prepare to gather with our families and exchange presents, I want to gently remind us that there are people—especially children—who won’t have that chance.

For several years, I’ve been supporting the children at the Center for Social Support of Children and Families “Ridni” in Lviv, Ukraine.

“Ridni” is a municipal institution founded by the Lviv City Council in partnership with the Ridni Charitable Foundation. It was one of the first places in Ukraine to create comprehensive support and protection for children who have been removed from their families.

Children in Ukraine are already enduring so much because of the war. Now imagine not being able to be with your mom or dad on top of that.

In Ukraine, we celebrate St. Nicholas Day on December 6—the day when children receive their presents. Ridni reached out to share that the children are in need of clothing, personal care items, and, of course, toys.

I will be donating personally, but I need your help to provide for 25 kids. Even the smallest contribution makes a difference. Let’s make St. Nicholas Day special for these children—together.

I will share photos and receipts so you can see exactly what we’ve done.
