ManyPaws Animal rescue saved a mama dog and her 6 week old puppies from a high-risk shelter in California, hoping to give them the fresh start they deserved here in Utah.
Within days, everything changed.
Two of the puppies suddenly became lethargic and critically ill. We rushed them to emergency care immediately—but despite every life-saving effort, we lost one of them, Timber. In less than 24 hours, he went from playful and full of life to gone. We are heartbroken.
Timber’s emergency care totaled $1,866.66.
We now have answers—but it’s our worst nightmare.
The puppies have been diagnosed with Canine distemper.
There is no cure. Only supportive care, time, and hope.
Ridge is still fighting.
He has come home but is not out of the woods. He is on medications, breathing support, and requires constant monitoring. His care has already reached $2,296.89 and continues to grow.
Now, two additional littermates are beginning to show symptoms, despite being quarantined.
We are doing everything we can to support them, keep them comfortable, and give them the best possible chance to fight this devastating virus.
How you can help:
Your support will go directly toward:
* Emergency and ongoing veterinary care
* Medications and supportive treatments
* Isolation supplies to prevent spread
* Comfort care for these puppies as they fight
We don’t know what the outcome will be—but we do know they deserve a chance, and they won’t fight alone.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this means everything.
Thank you for standing with Ridge, for honoring Timber, and for helping us keep going. ❤️
