On August 5th, 2024 a member of our Ekedal family was hospitalized due to ongoing pain in his leg. Ricky was diagnosed with having Group A Streptococcus Toxic Shock Syndrome which is a very rare, but serious bacterial infection. He has had skin grafting and several surgeries attempting to control the infection. Unfortunately, this infection has affected his kidneys and he is currently undergoing dialysis treatment.

We would like to help Ricky Lopez and his family raise money to assist with his medical and monthly bills. Ricky still has a long recovery ahead of him including therapy, dialysis and multiple surgeries.
