Support Ricky Hawkins Road to Recovery

Hello Everyone,

Our brother Ricky Hawkins, known as DJ Slick Rick, has experienced some very life-changing issues regarding his health. We all know Rick as that DJ playing the jams at the family BBQ, weddings, picnics, and birthday parties. Well, back in July, Rick's toes were amputated due to a minor injury that never fully healed. Last month, Rick acquired an infection which led to the amputation of his leg just beneath his kneecap. Ricky has gone through so much over the last few months and still shows how strong he is and will survive this terrible event with a great attitude. Our brother Ricky has a long road ahead of him with regards to rehabilitation and building his strength. Due to his absence from work while going through this process, he has unfortunately fallen behind in bills. He is experiencing a number of financial difficulties that seem to be impossible to overcome. We are hoping everyone comes together to help support Rick during this time of financial hardship. Your generous donations will go towards Rick's past due bills, special needed furniture, and lastly, prosthetics to get him back to doing what he loves to do, which is spending time with family, friends, and his love for music.
