Support Ricky Gregg's Road to Recovery

Hello, my name is Ashley Gregg Laro and I am raising money for my father. My parents are both hard-working people who have had full-time careers since they were teenagers. On January 27th of this year, my dad, Ricky Gregg, suffered two ischemic strokes and was hospitalized for about three weeks followed by a couple of weeks of inpatient rehabilitation. We found out he has a very large aneurysm in his brain that caused the strokes.

My dad now has trouble with walking, talking, hearing, and his doctors are desperately trying to save his left eye from being totally blind. With medical bills piling up on top of regular bills, my parents have hit a place that’s impossible with only one income, and dad is too young to retire. They have filed for disability but they have told us that it could take a year for that to be processed. We hope with time and therapy, he will get to a place where he could maybe work again.

100% of anything donated would go to my parents to help them get through this difficult time, pay medical bills, back and forth trips out of town for doctor appointments and scans. My mama and daddy are modest people and it’s hard for them to ask for help, but times are hard for them so I am trying to do what I can. Thank you all so much.
