Hey everybody, Ricky Dunn here. As most of you know I had emergency trauma surgery in April to remove my Colon. During that process I ended up with an ileostomy which leaked into my surgical site. Which lead to a debridement surgery to the first layer of muscle in my abdomen. And reversal of the ileostomy. With this surgery two weeks later I developed a massive ventral hernia which needed to be covered with a skin graft after a few months of internal healing. The skin graft has taken well and now it is time to start my next adventure of this process.

In January I will start going to Philadelphia to see plastic surgery and gastroenterologist to devise a game plan on how to fix my hernia and get my stomach back to looking normal. This will entail me having total abdominal reconstruction surgery in late February or March. Where I'm told I will be down Philadelphia in the hospital for a week or two until I'm back on my feet. There will be multiple appointments before and after the surgery down there and I'm just looking for some help

With the cost of each trip coming out of pocket for things like gas, hotel stays, food and medical necessities. I'm just making this in hopes to reach my goal so we have nothing to worry about while this is all going on.

My goal is to reach $2,700 to make sure all needs are met. Especially with me being expected to be down for a month or two again after surgery. This will be my fifth surgery in a years time.
