My brother Ricky Burton has been living a very healthy lifestyle and on 7/6/24 he suddenly went into kidney failure He was in the hospital for a week and is home now recovering, but will need extensive dialysis treatments for the next 3 months 3 times a week. He will need to travel 2 hours minimum round trip for each treatment. His kidneys are fully calcified and his GFR level is currently at a 5. After 3 months of treatment his doctors will reassess to see if his kidney function improves, or if a transplant will be needed.
