It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news, our beloved Ricky Bonilla has been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive and life threatening form of brain cancer. Ricky has already undergone brain surgery, and now faces a long and difficult road ahead. Unfortunately, the treatment options available here in the Rio Grande Valley are not sufficient for his condition. We are doing everything possible to get him into MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, one of the nation’s top cancer hospitals, to ensure he receives the highest level of care.

Ricky is a devoted family man, the oldest of his siblings, and a proud father to Jayden, Jacob, and Jianna. He is a strong man of faith. Ricky loves Jesus deeply and shares His word wherever he goes through conversation, prayer, and example. His strength and faith have been a light to so many.

This diagnosis has brought not only emotional but also tremendous financial stress. Between medical expenses, travel to Houston, and time away from work, the burden is overwhelming.
