Hi, my name is Joe Zarcone. I am starting this Go Fund Me page for my nephew (Ricky), who is really like a son to me more then anything. Bear with me please because I have never done this type of thing before. Ricky has really come a long way in a rough up hill battle that life delt him. He has really had to fight back a lot to build a strong foundation in life no matter what was thrown at him, but this time, life didn't just throw a rock at him, it threw a boulder. After many years, he was able to work his way up to a great little home life with a strong career, but needed reliable transportation because he was walking to work everyday. We were able to secure him a reliable car, a 2022 Chevy Trax. I was very proud of him on this accomplishment. After having the vehicle for only a few months, some elderly lady, instead of putting her vehicle into drive in a parking lot at his job, she placed it in reverse and basically ran over his new car, smashing his last puzzle piece to bits. Of course, her insurance company, as we all know insurance companies, totaled his car and is only giving him $15K as a replacement value, and he owes $21K. The car was so new to him that he didn't have enough equity in the vehicle to have the insurance company pay off his loan, even after putting $2K down. Now, he is not only out $6K, he is out of a car, and his $2K he put down. I know it is the holiday season, and the economy isn't the best right now, but I am wondering, if you have any spare cash to help him out, he and I would "REALLY" appreciate your help right now. We have all had hardships in our life and it just makes us so bitter. I really don't want him to give up on everything he has worked so hard for to get in life.
