Support Rick's Urgent Medical Journey

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

We are reaching out to share Rick's challenging health journey and to ask for your support during this difficult time. For many years, Rick has been living with a pacemaker. However, over the past few months, his condition has taken a turn for the worse. The pacemaker began shocking his heart multiple times each day, leading to a series of hospital visits, surgeries, and multiple ablation procedures that have left both Rick and his family searching for answers.

Just last week, Rick was admitted to the hospital once again. After a successful ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation, he faced another setback when he went into VT again the very next morning. In a critical move, he was airlifted to a specialized hospital in South Carolina. Currently, Rick is intubated and doctors are discussing the possibility of a heart transplant as the next step in his treatment.

With Rick in the hospital, he is unable to work, and his wife, Joanne, has taken time off to be by his side and travel to South Carolina. As medical bills continue to pile up, so do their monthly expenses. The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming, and they need our help.
