Support Rick's Medical Journey Back to Texas

Rick was in Minnesota from Texas for a business meeting when he collapsed at the airport prior to his flight back home. He was transported to the hospital and is now in the ICU due to cardiogenic shock, pulmonary hypertension, and right heart failure. He remains critical and is pending a possible transfer to another hospital that can further aid him with more appropriate intensive care.

We are taking it one day at a time, but as we look into the future and what that holds, we know we need to be able to get him home to Texas. His second granddaughter will be born any day now and as many of you already know, that is why we now live in Texas so that we can be with family and grandchildren.

I am in Minnesota with Rick until he can become stable and then I will need to return to Texas to work until we have a better idea of when he can return back. Breaking up a family is hard to do. We are attempting to raise funds, not only for the travel expenses back-and-forth, but ultimately for his medical expenses, along with a potential medical transport back to Texas. I pray not only for a positive outcome, but for the day we all reunite again as a family.
