We’re reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has faced. In September 2025, Rick was diagnosed with liver cancer. Since then, he has shown incredible strength, undergoing major surgery to remove the tumor and continuing to fight every day while waiting for a life-saving liver transplant. Rick is retired and has always loved spending his time out on the golf course, enjoying the simple moments life brings. Right now, everything is on hold as he focuses on his health and the road ahead.

As we prepare for this next critical step, we’re facing not only the emotional weight of this journey, but also the financial challenges that come with it. After the transplant, Rick will need to stay near the hospital for 30 to 45 days for close monitoring and recovery. This means being away from home for an extended time, along with mounting medical bills, travel costs, and daily living expenses.
